A Buddha is a Greater Heart who has evolved to the very high consciousness where he or she holds the whole Earth in light, and guides and energises that light to nourish the consciousness of every being on every level, whatever evolutionary and spiritual path they follow.
The current Buddha of Earth is Gautama, who incarnated 2500 years ago to become the Buddha in his physical self, and thus incarnate that light into the physical body of the Earth. Through this incarnation, Buddhism evolved and continues to express the Buddha light in many ways. However, the role of the Buddha of Earth should not be limited to that physical life of Gautama Buddha and the pathway of Buddhism that followed.
The emerging female Buddha of our current age is Lady Yasodhara, who will incarnate with Maitreya in 500 years. Together they will bring the next vibration of light into Earth’s body.
